UNDATED (AP) – Nike has unveiled Oregon’s uniforms for the national championship game, and there’s no trace of green or yellow. Instead, the Ducks will take the field next Monday against Ohio State in white jerseys with silver accents and gray numbers. Running back Royce Freeman called the jerseys “icy.”

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The Oregon Board of Parole has denied parole for a man who killed his wife and two young children 25 years ago. Now 58 years old, Yoshio Morimoto, recounted the crime in his September appearance before the board. The Oregonian reports he can request another review in two years.

SEASIDE, Ore. (AP) – Seaside officials are considering an expansion of their convention center, in hopes of keeping up with the regional competition. A consultant’s report says it would cost about $25 million. To finance the expansion, the consultant suggests such options as an alliance with nearby Cannon Beach and Astoria, or a tax on hotels or retail sales.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say the owner of a Portland strip club who was shot during an apparent robbery has died. Police say 54-year-old Craig Desmarais (DEH’-mah-ray) died over the weekend as a result of the shooting Dec. 22 at Tommy’s Too in southeast Portland. Police say the suspect wore dark clothing and is still at large.
