PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Damian Lillard scored 39 points and made the go-ahead basket with 36 seconds remaining as the Portland Trail Blazers rallied from a 10-point deficit in the second half to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 98-94 last night. Lillard hit four 3-pointers, and scored 16 points during the fourth quarter to lead the Blazers. Kobe Bryant stayed home for a scheduled day of rest. It was the fourth game Bryant has skipped .

UNDATED (AP) __ Nike unveiled Oregon’s uniforms for the national championship game, and there’s no trace of green or yellow. Instead, the Ducks will take the field Monday against Ohio State in white jerseys with silver accents and gray numbers. The Ducks are known for the countless uniforms they’ve been supplied by Beaverton, Oregon-based Nike, which was co-founded by Oregon alum Phil Knight.

SEATTLE (AP) – Washington linebacker Shaq Thompson is forgoing his senior season and will declare for the NFL draft. The school announced Thompson’s decision yesterday. Thompson’s final game was the Huskies’ loss to Oklahoma State in the Cactus Bowl on Friday. Thompson was one of three Huskies on the AP’s All-America first team.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) – Stanford forward Jordan Morris has turned down a chance to sign with the Seattle Sounders to stay in school for his junior year. In November, Morris became the first college player in nearly two decades to appear for the U.S. men’s national team when he came on in the 76th minute of a 4-1 exhibition loss to Ireland in Dublin.
