PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say a 24-year-old Vancouver woman who was killed last week in a Portland hotel was a victim of sex trafficking. But it’s not clear if that is directly related to her death. The Oregonian reports the body of Ashley Benson was found Friday in a stairwell at the DoubleTree hotel near the Lloyd Center shopping mall.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A Canadian energy company’s plan to build a $500 million propane export terminal at the Port of Portland has hit a snag. The Oregonian reports city planners must approve a zoning change for the land near the confluence of the Columbia and Willamette rivers before Calgary-based Pembina Pipeline can begin the project.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) – A pickup truck rolled several times in a crash on Highway 50 in Klamath Falls yesterday morning, killing two people. Oregon State Police say 22-year-old Garrett Zimmer of Hermiston and 26-year-old Marri Young-Wellbaum of Eagle Point were killed in the crash. A third person in the pickup was injured.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State’s Gary Andersen has added Dave Baldwin as offensive coordinator and Kevin McGiven as quarterbacks coach. Baldwin spent the last three seasons as offensive coordinator at Colorado State. He previously worked with Andersen as offensive coordinator at Utah State from 2009-11.
