SEATTLE (AP) – SEATTLE (AP) – Marshawn Lynch scored on a 9-yard run with 12:07 remaining, Bruce Irvin returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown and the Seahawks wrapped up home-field advantage through the NFC playoffs with a 20-6 win over the St. Louis Rams. The two fourth-quarter touchdowns by Seattle (12-4) capped a six-game win streak to end the regular season. That earned the Seahawks a second straight NFC West title.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Wesley Matthews had 28 points, including six 3-pointers, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the short-handed New York Knicks 101-79 last night. Matthews leads the NBA with 106 3-pointers and made five 3s in the first half. It was the eighth straight loss for the Knicks, who had just nine available players to start the game and then lost Carmelo Anthony to a sore left knee. Portland has won eight of its last nine games.

SEATTLE (AP) – Jameel Warney banked in a short runner with 30 seconds left to give Stony Brook its first lead, sending the Seawolves past the No. 13 Washington men’s basketball team 61-57. Stony Brook (7-5) overcame a late 11-point deficit to stun the Huskies (11-1). Robert Upshaw had 10 points and 11 rebounds for Washington.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Center Isabelle Harrison had 20 points and 12 rebounds, and No. 8 Tennessee beat the No. 10 Oregon State women’s basketball team 74-63. Sydney Wiese led Oregon State with 19 points on 6-for-17 shooting in the team’s first loss.
