FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) – The University of Alaska Fairbanks is appealing NCAA postseason bans for its women’s basketball and women’s swimming teams. The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports Athletic Director Gary Gray said the appeal for women’s basketball and swimming was filed about three weeks ago, making them eligible for postseason play.
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The Portland Trail Blazers host the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. The Blazers defeated the Thunder in Oklahoma City Tuesday night, 115-11. Damian Lillard scored 40 points.
