PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A grand jury has indicted three men in the 1995 shooting death of a 24-year-old man in his southeast Portland home. Brothers Adrian Stafford and Selwyn Stafford, as well as Vinson White, are charged in the death of Darrin Ezell. A fourth man, Danny Conner, was previously arrested. The Stafford brothers and White are serving time on unrelated convictions.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say a man being sought for arrest in Tillamook County tossed four pipe bombs out the window of his car as he was being chased through southeast Portland yesterday. Police called off the chase and all of the bombs were recovered. None detonated. Investigators think the same man has led police on three chases in Clackamas and Multnomah counties.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Nordstrom department store has fired an African-American sales associate who made a statement about killing police on his Facebook page. Aaron Hodges of Portland suggested killing a white officer for every black man killed by police. He said he made the comment to a friend and did not mean it literally.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) – In women’s college basketball, Ruth Hamblin had 17 points and 10 rebounds to help No. 16 Oregon State beat No. 6 North Carolina 70-55 last night. Jamie Weisner added 14 points for the Beavers, who improved to 8-0 for the first time in program history. North Carolina was also undefeated heading into last night’s game.
