PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Damian Lillard had 23 points and a career-high 10 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers downed the short-handed San Antonio Spurs 108-95 last night. LaMarcus Aldridge added 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Blazers, who have won seven of their last nine games. But starting center Robin Lopez injured his right hand early in the second half and did not return.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) – Kyle Wiltjer scored 21 points to help No. 8 Gonzaga rout Texas Southern 94-54 last night. Domantas Sabonis added 16 points, Silas Melson 13 and Kevin Pangos 11 for Gonzaga (10-1), which was coming off a victory at UCLA. Madarious Gibbs and Deverell Biggs each scored 12 points for Texas Southern (1-8). David Blanks added 11.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Gary Payton II had Oregon State’s first triple-double in 26 years as the Beavers cruised past Grambling State 71-43 yesterday. The junior college transfer had 10 points, 12 rebounds, and career highs with 10 assists and six steals. The last Oregon State player to notch a triple double was Payton’s father, Gary Payton, an All-American for the Beavers who was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.

SEATTLE (AP) – Jarell Flora scored 24 points to help Seattle dominate NAIA Northwest 84-58 on last night. Flora was 3 of 6 from beyond the arc and 9 for 9 from the free throw line. Isiah Umipig made 4 of 7 from long range and scored 13 points, Manroop Clair added 12 and Jadon Cohee chipped in 11 for Seattle (5-5).
