OSU Names Riley Successor
Wisconsin football coach Gary Anderson is moving to Corvallis where he’ll be taking over the reins of the Oregon State Football program. Anderson led Wisconsin for the past two years, coaching them to a 10-3 record this year and the Big Ten West Division title. He succeeds Mike Riley who left OSU last week to take over a Nebraska.
Anderson’s hiring came on the heels of the announcement of a major expansion of Oregon State’s Valley Football Center adjacent to Reser Stadium.
Wind Warning Prompts Basketball Cancellation
No Viking basketball tonight at the Junction City Tournament. Siuslaw Varsity and JV were slated to open play at the annual December tournament this afternoon… they’ll likely resume play tomorrow.
