PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Two lawyers in Portland plan to release “Driving While Black,” a free mobile app that educates people on how to interact with police during traffic stops. Mariann Hyland and Melvin Oden-Orr aim for a late December release. Despite its name, Oden-Orr says their app provides common sense advice to people of all races.

OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) – The Clackamas County sheriff’s office says a man and woman found dead in a Milwaukie-area home apparently died in a murder-suicide. Sgt. Nathan Thompson says that detectives believe 29-year-old Whichelle Stockton was killed by her husband, 28-year-old Tyson Stockton, who then killed himself.

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) – Oops. There are no jurors in a suburban Portland courthouse this week. Due to a simple human error, no jurors were summoned. The Oregonian reports that the Washington County Circuit Court goof went unnoticed until Monday, when it was too late to fix the mistake. Court officials say the jury coordinator creating this week’s panel mistakenly entered next week’s dates.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Andrew Wiggins had 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists and the Minnesota Timberwolves stunned the Portland Trail Blazers with a 90-82 victory last night. Damian Lillard had 23 points and seven rebounds for the Trail Blazers. But LaMarcus Aldridge managed just 10 points and Portland turned the ball over 20 times while shooting 38.8 percent.
