Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
It’s go time tonight… many eyes in the college football world are looking towards Santa Clara, California and Levi’s Stadium where number two Oregon and number 11 Arizona will face off this evening in the Pac-12 Football Championship game. Air time on Coast Radio Sports is at 4:30… kickoff at six.
Riley Makes the Move to Lincoln
Oregon State Athletic Director Bob De Carolis says he’s disappointed to be losing Mike Riley as head football coach, but he’s also happy for him in his new opportunity.
Riley announced yesterday morning he’s leaving Corvallis after coaching the Beavers to 93 wins over 14 seasons. He was named as Nebraska’s new head coach yesterday, replacing Bo Pelini.
De Carolis said they are launching a national search for a successor.
College basketball this weekend
Oregon State will be in the Chiles Center at the University of Portland tomorrow night where they’ll take on the Pilots at seven. The pregame show on KCFM is at 6:30. Oregon is at home Sunday against Mississippi. Airtime on KCST is 12:30; tipoff at one.
Prep basketball
Ttonight… the Mapleton boys will host the Siuslaw JV this evening at six. Viking Basketball is at home tomorrow against the Phoenix Pirates. The girls tip off at 4:30; the boys at six. Both games will air on Coast Radio Sports with the pregame show set for 4:15.
