SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) – National title implications, a possible Heisman Trophy at stake and a new $1.3 billion stadium to showcase the whole thing. The Pac-12 will have the spotlight to itself Friday night when No. 3 Oregon and No. 8 Arizona meet in the conference championship game at sparkling Levi’s Stadium. The Ducks are all but guaranteed a spot in the four-team College Football Playoff with a win, and the selection committee could have a hard time keeping Arizona out if the Wildcats upset Oregon.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – LaMarcus Aldridge had 18 points and 13 rebounds for this fourth straight double-double and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Indiana Pacers 88-82 last night. Damian Lillard led all scorers with 23 points for the Blazers, who have won three straight and 12 of their last 13.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) – Alan Williams scored 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked three shots to lead UC Santa Barbara over Seattle 87-46 last night. Michael Bryson added 14 points and John Green and Gabe Vincent 11 apiece for the Gauchos (4-3), who made 36 of 61 shots for 59 percent, including 12 of 22 from 3-point range for 54.5 percent.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Ruth Hamblin scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as No. 17 Oregon State beat Idaho 75-53, moving to 6-0 yesterday for the first time since the 2000-01 season.
