PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – At least two dozen activists in Portland have filed complaints against the city’s police as a result of last week’s Ferguson protests and other events. About 30 protesters rallying in chilly weather at City Hall said they were angry about how police handled a march Saturday. Ten people were arrested at that march after officers lobbed “flash bang” grenades to disperse the crowd near a central transit area.

OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) – An Oregon sheriff’s office says a man sought on a murder warrant in the Feb. 6 fatal shooting of an Oregon weighmaster is in police custody in Los Angeles after being wounded by police responding to a reported car burglary. The Clackamas County sheriff’s office said Dirck White was listed in critical condition at a Los Angeles hospital. He’s under police guard.

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) – Fishermen rescued off the Oregon coast by a helicopter dispatched out of a Coast Guard base that’s slated to close say the $6 million that would be saved is not worth the lives of fishermen. A Coast Guard spokesman says it’s good news the crew members were rescued quickly; however, the Coast Guard still plans to close its Newport air station Dec. 15.

TUALATIN, Ore. (AP) – Police in the Portland suburb of Tualatin say five members of what appears to be an organized theft ring have stolen more than $2,400 worth of high-end lingerie from a store in a shopping center. Posh Lingerie was able to obtain surveillance photos of the suspects.
