Auburn’s KT Harrell had five of his 20 points late in the game, breaking a tie and the Tigers held off Oregon State to win the consolation game of the MGM Grand Main Event 71-69 last night in Las Vegas.
Gary Payton II led Oregon State with a season-high 20 points and 12 rebounds.
The Beavers will be at home Wednesday against Mississippi Valley State.
