PHILADELPHIA (AP) – LaMarcus Aldridge had 15 of his 33 points during the pivotal third quarter to help the Portland Trail Blazers defeat Philadelphia 114-104 on Monday night. It was the Blazers’ eighth in a row.

NEW YORK (AP) – Zak Irwin scored 19 points and Caris LeVert added 18 to lead Number 19 Michigan to a 70-63 win over Oregon Monday night. Joseph Young had 20 points for the Ducks. Ducks forward Dwayne Benjamin had eight points and 11 rebounds before leaving late in the game with an apparent left ankle injury.

LAS VEGAS (AP) – Phil Forte scored 13 points in the second half Monday night to lead Oklahoma State to a 66-53 victory over Oregon State in the opening game of the MGM Grand Main Event. The Cowboys will meet the winner of the tournament’s second game between Auburn and Tulsa for the championship Wednesday night in Las Vegas.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) – Drew Brandon scored a career-high 27 points, and Eastern Washington used a late 9-0 run to stun Indiana 88-86 on Monday night. Tyler Harvey had 25 points to help the Eagles get their first win against a Big Ten foe and their first win in front of a crowd of over 10,000 people in Bloomington. EWU is now 1-13 all-time against the Big Ten and 1-20 in front of big crowds.
