Langston Morris-Walker and Gary Payton II each recorded career high 16-points as Oregon State downed Corban University 86-62 at Gill Coliseum last night.

The Beavers had a balanced offensive attack with five players scoring in double digits against the Cascade Collegiate Conference Warriors. Oregon State will host Oral Roberts Friday at six.

Doha Edges Eugene for World Finals

The 2019 World Track and Field Championships are headed to the Qatari capital of Doha. Members of the IAAF picked Doha over Eugene and Barcelona, Spain in a secret vote that was announced yesterday morning. Barcelona was eliminated first, with Doha edging Eugene 15-12 in the final tally. The World championships are held every two years. Beijing will host next year with London serving as host in 2017.

Alabama Vaults Into Top Four in the CFP

Alabama has moved from fifth to first in the latest College Football Playoff ranking following Saturday’s 25-20 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs, who fell from first to fourth. Alabama has won five in a row since a 23-17 loss to Mississippi Oct. 4. Oregon is second in the ranking, unbeaten Florida State is third, TCU is fifth and Ohio State sixth.
