Cross Country District Meet Today
Both the Siuslaw Viking boys and girls cross country teams are ranked in the top five in the state headed into today’s Far West District Cross Country meet in Brookings. The two top scoring teams in each class… plus top finishing individual runners will advance to the state meet next week at Lane Community College in Eugene.
Siuslaw Athletic Boosters want you to move your bones
Costumes are welcome on runners for Saturday’s “Move Your Bones” fun run and five-K sponsored by the Siuslaw Athletic Boosters. You can preregister today and tomorrow at Coastal Fitness… or Saturday morning beginning at 8:30 at the middle school. It’s more than just the five-K… there is an “all-comers” half mile plus a dash for the kids at nine.
