Beavers Face Ranked Utes in Midweek Contest
The big mystery for tonight’s game between number 20 Utah and Oregon State is just who the Utes will start at quarterback. The depth chart lists Travis Wilson or Kendal Thompson, and earlier this week coach Kyle Whittingham wasn’t giving away his choice. Oregon State Coach Mike Riley said his only option was to prepare for both of them. The Beavers and the Utes kick off this evening at seven… that game will air on KCFM with the pregame show set for six.
Prep sports on the schedule…
It’s the annual “Run for the Brownies” at Sandpines Golf Links this afternoon. Individual runners from several different schools will be grouped into alternative teams for the three-thousand meter race… the winning team gets a plate of brownies. That’s at four o’clock.
On the prep volleyball court… the Mapleton Sailors will wrap up the regular season at home against the McKenzie Eagles. The Siuslaw Vikings are at home this evening against Brookings-Harbor. Both matches begin at six.
