Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) – Russell Wilson rushed for a career-high 122 yards and a touchdown last night, and the Seattle Seahawks overcame more than a dozen penalties in a 27-17 victory over the Washington Redskins. Wilson completed 18 of 24 passes for 201 yards and two more scores for the Seahawks, who displayed an uncharacteristic lack of crispness coming off their bye. Seattle (3-1) is an NFL-best 21-8 on Monday nights, including nine consecutive wins. The team is 11-1 in prime time under Carroll.

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) – Tight end Jordan Reed still isn’t able to suit up for the Washington Redskins. The Redskins listed Reed as inactive last night for their game against the Seattle Seahawks. Reed hasn’t played since the season opener, when he pulled his left hamstring. He returned to practice on a limited basis last week and was listed as questionable for the game.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Washington State coach Mike Leach has dismissed special teams coordinator Eric Russell after Saturday’s 60-59 loss to California in which the Cougars gave up back-to-back kickoff returns for touchdowns. The Cougars also missed a potential game-winning 19-yard field goal in the closing seconds of the game.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Doug Fister pitched seven shutout innings and the Washington Nationals took advantage of Madison Bumgarner’s one off-target throw, staving off elimination in the NL Division Series with a 4-1 win against the San Francisco Giants yesterday. Now, the 96-win Nationals will send left-hander Gio Gonzalez up against San Francisco right-hander Ryan Vogelsong.
