PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A new study shows 95 percent of Oregonians now have health insurance coverage, largely thanks to the state’s expansion of Medicaid to many previously ineligible low-income adults. Most of the newly insured gained coverage through the Oregon Health Plan, the state’s version of Medicaid, which expanded by 360,000 people.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police say a lumber products truck crashed at an Umpqua River bridge on Highway 38 in southern Oregon, leaving the trailer hanging over the bridge railing above the waterway. An estimated 100 gallons of diesel leaked into the river after the crash yesterday. The truck driver was cited in the crash.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The Oregon Attorney General’s office says it found no wrongdoing, but has issued a warning to a woman who accepted donations to help her 77-pound Dachshund to lose weight. The Oregonian reports the AG’s charitable activities office began an investigation in January. They warned Nora Vanatta to give the money away to established nonprofits by a deadline.
