The best of minor league baseball in the Pacific Northwest turned out to be on the mound.   Last night’s Northwest League All Star Game in Eugene ended in a nothing-nothing tie after ten innings.

There were only nine hits total on the night, but two of those came from the bat of Spokane third baseman Jose Trevino… both doubles. He was rewarded by being named the game’s Most Valuable Player.

No games today in the league as players make their way back to their own teams, but play resumes tomorrow. The Emeralds will be in Hillsboro against the Hops.
