Pac-12 football programs hit the practice field yesterday for the first so-called ‘fall’ practices.

In Corvallis, all eyes are on quarterback Sean Mannion who set a Pac-12 season record last year for passing yards with 4,662. He also connected on an Oregon State best 37 touchdown passes, third most for a single season in conference history.

In Eugene, the eyes are on returning quarterback Marcus Mariota; one major reason the Ducks are picked to finish on top of the conference.

Both teams open the season Saturday, August 30th. The Beavers at home against Portland State; The Ducks against South Dakota at Autzen Stadium.
