Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
The Three Rivers Sandblasters left 18 base-runners stranded yesterday, but a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted them to a 6-5 non-league victory over the Canyon Crushers at Jiggs Dodson Field.
They’re back on the diamond this afternoon for another non-league game; this one against the Corvallis Knights of the West Coast League at OSU’s Goss Stadium. Game time is at four… airtime on Coast Radio Sports at 3:45.
Five hits, three walks and one hit batsman led to seven runs for the Vancouver Canadians last night… all in the third inning and the Canucks cruised to a 9-2 Northwest League Win over the Eugene Emeralds. Game two of the five game series at Nat Bailey Stadium is set for this evening.
