Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
The Three Rivers Sandblasters wrapped up play in the Papa’s Pizza Invitational Tournament yesterday with a, 8-3 loss to Toyota Baseball.
Saturday they tied in a two-hour time limit with Showtime Prep; 8-8. Friday they lost two games: 8-4 to the Northwest Stars and 7-4 to the Portland Barbers.
They return to the American Legion schedule tomorrow evening in Albany against the Mid-Valley Rockets.
In the Northwest League…
The Eugene Emeralds opened the weekend with a 7-1 win over the Hawks in Boise. The Ems then gave up a load of runs Saturday and Sunday, losing 15-3 and 10-5. Eugene moves on to Keizer today where they’ll begin a three game series against the Volcanoes.
