The Willamette Valley Titans downed the Three Rivers Sandblasters in both games of a non-league double header yesterday in Florence; 5-nothing in the opener; 13-9 in the nightcap.
The ‘Blasters are back on the diamond for their first two league games this afternoon at home against the Mid Valley Rockets. First pitch at two; the pregame show on Coast Radio Sports is at 1:45.
Northwest League Baseball
In the Northwest League, the Eugene Emeralds remain perfect on the season. They lost their fourth game, 6-4, to the Indians in Spokane last night. The two teams wrap up their five game series this evening before the Ems head home for their opener at PK Park in Eugene tomorrow against Boise.
