SEATTLE (AP) – Los Angeles Angels reliever Brian Moran will undergo Tommy John surgery on his pitching elbow and is expected to miss the rest of the season. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -Michael Morse hit a two-run single to back Tim Hudson as each made memorable home debuts with their new team, and Brandon Belt hit a two-run homer for the San Francisco Giants in a 7-3 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks yesterday. Hudson (2-0) shut down the D-backs for the second time in seven days with an eight-inning gem.

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Carl Crawford hit an RBI double in the 10th inning, lifting the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers last night. Joba Chamberlain (0-1) struck out the side in the ninth for Detroit, but walked pinch-hitter Chone Figgins to open the 10th and was replaced by Phil Coke. J.P.
