PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Oregon state geologists say they’ve been watching a recent swarm of small earthquakes on Mount Hood. KGW-TV reports the quakes started Sunday evening and have been occurring right beneath Government Camp. Geologists say the quakes seem to be occurring right alongside a recently discovered fault.

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – One person has been killed in a collision involving a wrong-way driver on Interstate 5 near Medford. State Police say a driver was going north in the southbound lanes about 3 this morning and collided five miles south of Medford with another vehicle. Police say the wrong-way driver was taken to a hospital.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A police spokesman says a man in his 60s was stabbed in the head last night in southwest Portland. Sgt. Pete Simpson says the injury was not believed to be life-threatening. Officers took a male suspect in his 20s into custody. Police say it appears the stabbing happened inside a parked car.

NEW YORK (AP) – The general manager of New York City’s nearly year-old bike-sharing program has resigned. The Daily News says Justin Ginsburgh stepped down less than a week after the program reported financial problems. Ginsburgh joined the Portland, Ore.-based Alta Bike Share company that runs the Citi Bike program last year.
