RENTON, Wash. (AP) – The Seattle Seahawks and kicker Steven Hauschka have agreed to terms on a new multi-year contract after the best season of his career. The team confirmed the agreement yesterday. Terms of the contract were not released. NFL.com reported it’s a three-year deal worth up to $9 million. Hauschka was a standout last season for the Seahawks. He missed only two field goals during the regular season, one of which was blocked.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State is headed to the NCAA women’s tournament for the first time in 18 years. The ninth-seeded Beavers (23-10) will face eighth-seeded Middle Tennessee (29-4) in Seattle on Sunday. Oregon State rode an 11-game winning streak, the second-longest in school history and best since 1982-83, into the Pac-12 championship game. The Beavers fell 71-62 to USC to finish as the tournament runner-up.

UNDATED (AP) – South Carolina will have to travel west and potentially play Stanford on its home floor to earn a trip to the Final Four. Coach Dawn Staley’s team earned the first No. 1 seed in school history. They will open up against Cal State Northridge in the first round in Seattle.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Stephen Curry scored 28 of his 37 points in the second half and Klay Thompson made the go-ahead 3-pointer with 11.1 seconds remaining to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 113-112 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night. Damian Lillard scored 26 points and Nicholas Batum had 23 points and 14 rebounds as the Blazers, playing without injured All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, lost for the fifth time in six games.
