VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) – Jannik Hansen scored the game’s only goal and Eddie Lack made 20 saves for his third shutout of the season as the Vancouver Canucks blanked the St. Louis Blues 1-0 in the first post-Olympic game for both teams last night. The Canucks ended their losing streak at seven games while moving into sole possession of eighth place in the Western Conference.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Will Barton had a season-high 20 points and career-high 11 rebounds, providing a spark off the bench for the short-handed Portland Trail Blazers in a 124-80 rout of the Brooklyn Nets last night. The Blazers won their fourth straight game despite missing forward LaMarcus Aldridge. The team’s top scorer and rebounder has been out five straight games with a left groin sprain.

CHICAGO (AP) – Taj Gibson scored 21 points, Carlos Boozer added 15 points and 13 rebounds, and the Chicago Bulls used a big third-quarter run to win for the seventh time in eight games, pounding the Golden State Warriors 103-83 last night. Jimmy Butler scored 16 points for the Bulls. Jordan Crawford scored 16 points for the Warriors.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – Courtney Lee scored 18 points, Marc Gasol had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and the Memphis Grizzlies overcame a late 3-point shooting display by Los Angeles to beat the Lakers 108-103 last night. Jodie Meeks led the Lakers with 19 points, Wesley Johnson added 18 and Pau Gasol had 17 points and 10 rebounds.
