Siuslaw wrestling standout Jose DelaMora is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The first year grappler has seen continued success at 113 pounds this season, most recently by finishing second at the Sutherlin Wrestling Invitational.
Honorable Mention goes to Mapleton’s Tucker Ford who scored 27 points in the Sailor’s basketball victory over Crow.
Prep Basketball
The Mapleton Sailors are on the hardwood this evening at home for Mountain West League action against the Alsea Wolverines. The girls tip off at 5:30, the boys immediately following. Both games will air on Coast Radio Sports beginning at 5:15.
The Reedsport Braves are at home this evening against the Glide Wildcats. Siuslaw has the night off.
