Butler repeats as top prep athlete
Siuslaw Cross Country standout Mitchell Butler is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The 4A boys state champion continued his string of success on the 5-K course finishing 13th overall at the Foot Locker Cross Country West Regional in Walnut, California.
Prep basketball
Mapleton basketball scheduled for tonight has been postponed. The games against Siletz Valley will be made up January 3rd.
Newport and Siuslaw will meet on the court this evening… the girls in Newport… the boys in Florence. That game will air on Coast Radio sports at 6:45… tipoff at seven.
Reedsport is at home this evening… they’ll host Oakridge for both boys and girls hoops.
