EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – With an 86-yard kickoff return against Utah, Oregon’s De’Anthony Thomas authoritatively announced that he’s back. Now he insists he’s fully healed and ready for the final stretch of his junior season.

SEATTLE (AP) – Microsoft co-founder and Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen says he’ll pay for a two-year, $2.4 million study into whether repeated blows to the head can lead to dementia. Researchers will examine donated brains to look for links between head injuries and later health problems like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
