Prep Football
It’s football playoff day… the Siuslaw Vikings and the Sweet Home Huskies will meet this evening at Hans Peterson Field to decide which team will advance to the first round of the OSAA playoffs. Kickoff is at seven o’clock… the pregame show on KCST is set for 6:45.
Also on the prep schedule tonight… the Reedsport Braves wrap up the regular season in Myrtle Point against the Bobcats… the Mapleton Sailors will face the Devils in Lowell.
State Meet to be a test for Siuslaw Cross Country
The Siuslaw Boys Cross Country Team will be striving for their third straight 4A State Championship tomorrow morning at Lane Community College in Eugene. The boys and the girls both won Far West League titles. The girls race at 11:15… the boys about 30-minutes later.
Opening Round of Volleyball Playoffs
Viking Volleyball will be in La Grande tomorrow afternoon at one pm where they’ll face the Tigers in the opening round of the OSAA 4A playoffs… the winner will face either Estacada or Hidden Valley next Friday in Eugene.
Regis will be in Reedsport tomorrow afternoon at two where they’ll face the Braves in the opening round of the 2A volleyball playoffs. The winner will take on either Union or Delphian next Friday in Redmond at Ridgeview High School.
Beavers and the Trojans
College Football is on the field tonight in Corvallis… the Oregon State Beavers will host USC at six pm. The pregame show on KCFM is at five.
No Ducks tomorrow… they have the weekend off and will face Stanford in Palo Alto next Thursday night.
