Coast Radio’s Athlete of the Week

Siuslaw Cross Country standout Mitchell Butler is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week.  The senior harrier set a new course record at Tugman State Park and ran his fastest time ever on a 5-K course to claim the individual Far West League cross country championship with a time of 15:19.

Honorable mention goes to Butler’s teammate Mack Marbas who was one second behind the victor, in second place, helping to pace the Vikings to their sixth straight district title.
