Siuslaw Volleyball played with consistency last night, downing the Reedsport Braves 25-15; 25-15; and 25-18 in a non-league contest in Florence. Ashlee Cole and Elyssa Rose led the Viks with nine kills each… Brittany long had eight digs, one kill and 16 assists.
Athlete of the Week
Viking Volleyball Standout Ashlee Cole is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The senior hitter had 11 kills in a win over North Bend, then added nine more in a non-league victory over Reedsport.
Honorable Mention goes to Freshman hitter Elyssa Rose who scored 20 kills in three matches this past week.
