MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – A Medford man who had no luck at video lottery will spend more than seven years behind bars. Prosecutors say Frankie Parker attacked a bar employee because he was angry at losing $700, and it took a jury less than an hour to find him guilty of robbery and assault at Rumors Lounge on April 23.

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) – Officials in Chouteau County have released the name of a 5-year-old Oregon girl who died of injuries suffered in a one-vehicle rollover in Montana on Monday. The Great Falls Tribune reports Lorelai Fields of Veronia died after a crash on U.S. 87 near Big Sandy. A 7-year-old girl in the car remained in critical condition at a Seattle hospital yesterday.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) – Police in Klamath Falls have shot and killed a suspected car thief. Klamath County District Attorney Rob Patridge says officers yesterday were checking a stolen car report and a suspect who also had an outstanding felony warrant. Patridge says officers got into a confrontation with the man as they tried to arrest him and Matthew Borner of Klamath Falls was fatally shot.

TERREBONNE, Ore. (AP) – A Deschutes County sheriff’s spokesman says a body was found floating in the Crooked River north of Terrebonne in central Oregon. Sgt. Troy Gotchy said more than 25 people worked for more than seven hours to recover the body yesterday.
