The Eugene Emeralds started the second half of the Northwest League Season the same way they started the first half… with a shutout loss to the Boise Hawks. This one, last night at PK Park in Eugene, was a 6-nothing game. The two teams continue their three game series tonight and tomorrow.
The Three Rivers Sandblasters will wrap up the regular season this afternoon in Stayton when they take to the diamond against the Canyon Crushers. It’s a makeup for the game that was rained out June 19th. Airtime on Coast Radio Sports is set for 3:45 with the first pitch at four.
