The losing streak extended to three for the Eugene Emeralds last night as they fell to Salem-Keizer 5-1 at PK Park.  The Volcanoes put up nine hits and played perfect defense; while the Emeralds continue to struggle with their hitting in timely situations.

The Ems did manage five hits, but left seven baserunners stranded, unable to capitalize when they had runners in scoring position.  The three game series wraps up tonight in Eugene.
