Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…

Siuslaw was down by two in the bottom of the sixth inning and tied the score on a Jake Thompson two-run double.  Thompson scored later in the inning, forced in by a walk, to give the Vikings the lead and an eventual 11-10 baseball victory over Valley Catholic of Portland.

Siuslaw Softball wrapped up the North Marion tourney with a split yesterday, falling to Central High School 16-7 in the opener; then  getting past the Canby JV 14-6 in the nightcap.

On the schedule beginning today: college baseball.  Easter weekend moves the regular schedule up by a day… Oregon is at home for a three game series against Washington.  Oregon State is at the University of San Diego for non-conference ball.
