Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
Three seniors at Siuslaw High School committed this week to running Cross Country at the next level. 4A State Champion Matthew Campbell, Hayden Schaffner and Brian Schofield signed letters of intent to run for Lane Community College next year. All three were members of the Siuslaw boys 4A State Championship team this past fall… Schaffner was the individual state champion in the 800 meters last spring.
On the schedule… Siuslaw grapplers will be at the Sutherlin Invitational tomorrow.
Tonight on the hardwood, Siuslaw will be at South Umpqua for Far West boys and girls basketball. Airtime on Coast Radio Sports is at 5:45. The Mapleton Girls will host Eddyville for Mountain West basketball at 5:30 this evening. Myrtle Point will be at Reedsport for both boys and girls basketball… The Mapleton Boys will be at home tomorrow against Santiam Christian for non-league basketball at four.
On the college hardwood… Washington State and Oregon State will square off in Corvallis at two tomorrow… airtime on KCFM is at 1:30. Oregon will host Washington at four… airtime on Coast Radio Sports will be at 3:30.
