Oregon State Sophomore infielder Nick Madrigal picked up his second Pac-12 Player of the Week honor this week.  He hit safely in all four games last week, recording three multi-hit efforts.  He led off with a single in Sunday’s finale at Stanford. Madrigal has a Beaver leading .406 average on the season and is currently on a career-long 17-game hitting streak.

Left handed pitcher David Peterson from Oregon was the Pitcher of the Week.  He continued his dominance, holding Utah to just one run in eight innings with 11 strikeouts and no walks.  Peterson is 5-0 for the Ducks and has a season 1.13 earned run average.  This is the second time this season he’s been named the conference pitcher of the week.
