Viking softball had been scheduled to participate in a jamboree in Newport earlier this week. Two attempts were made, but the rain eventually forced cancellation. The softball team is slated to open the season against the Bulldogs in Sutherlin March 21st. Viking Baseball will face the Sweet Home Huskies Friday, March 24th.
