Fourth Straight Emeralds Win

Eugene catcher Sam Tidaback lifted a sacrifice fly to center field in the bottom of the sixth, scoring Kevonte Mitchell for the go-ahead run and the Ems recorded their fourth straight win, this one 4-2 over the Tri City Dust Devils.

Mitchell added an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth with an RBI double that scored Marcus Mastrobuoni.

The win gives Eugene their 50th of the season… the most ever in a 76-game season.  Game two of the five-game series with the Devils is this evening.
