In 91 career games with Seattle, Iwakuma is 38-20 with a 3.07 ERA. General manager Jack Zduriencik said at the end of the season that Iwakuma would be returning for 2015.

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) – The shooting at Marysville-Pilchuck High School last Friday cancelled the football team’s playoff game with Oak Harbor, and in a gesture of sportsmanship Oak Harbor forfeited. The Marysville-Pilchuck team returned the gesture this week by delivering the Wesco 3A North title trophy to Oak Harbor.

UNDATED (AP) – The No. 5 Oregon Ducks host the Stanford Cardinal at Autzen Stadium tomorrow in a battle of two powerhouses in the Pac-12’s North Division. The Cardinal are the only Pac-12 team that Marcus Mariota has never defeated. Mariota leads the nation with 10.47 yards per pass attempt.
