PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Fewer Oregonians are hunting and fishing, translating into less money to sustain wildlife management and conservation. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife plans to request a bigger share of general fund revenue and more frequent increases in license and tag fees. It will unveil a budget blueprint Thursday.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Oregon state Rep. Jason Conger’s U.S. Senate race fundraising has fallen. Federal Election Commission records show Conger raised $64,000 during the first quarter of the year, down from $280,000 in the previous three months. GOP rival Monica Wehby raised $590,000. The Republican nominee will face Democrat Jeff Merkley, who raised $1 million.
