Pac 12 Football

Marcus Mariota threw his first interception of the season in the opening drive Saturday afternoon.  Things just went down hill from there for Oregon as the Arizona Wildcats beat down the Ducks 42-16 in Tucson.  Ka’Deem Carey ran for 206 yards and four touchdowns while the ‘Cats took advantage of numerous Oregon miscues.  Oregon plummeted from number five in the BCS rankings to 13th… seemingly putting a fifth straight BCS game out of reach.

If you thought that was the poorest performance of the day in the college football circuit, you didn’t stick around for the ‘beat-down’ of the Beavers by the Huskies.  Washington thumped Oregon State 69-27 Saturday night in Corvallis for the Beavers’ fourth straight loss.  A month ago Oregon State was six-and-one… they’re now six-and-five.
