PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A Portland-area bicyclist who survived getting hit by a MAX train has a message to other cyclists — never wear headphones while crossing a light-rail intersection. SALEM, Ore. (AP) – A two-alarm fire burned a house Wednesday night in downtown Salem. The fire went to two alarms to prevent it from spreading to a nearby house.
