Here is the latest Oregon news from The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Four men suspected of sexually abusing two middle school girls have been arrested in Portland. KGW reports police arrested two men after a school staffer saw a link May 19 to a pornographic video on a student’s Facebook page. Two other men were arrested yesterday in the case.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A couple who work near Portland’s Vista Bridge say they’re sick of seeing suicides. The latest fatal jump was Wednesday from the 120-foot high bridge in the Goose Hollow neighborhood. Bonnie and Ken Kahn told KATU they’re part of a group pushing the city to build barriers on the bridge. The mayor’s office says the city doesn’t have the money to build anti-suicide barriers. The Kahns also are using a Facebook page to organize volunteers to walk the bridge and to make someone who may consider jumping stop and think.

ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) – Investigators say the cause of Tuesday’s fire that heavily damaged the Pacific Coast Seafood plant in Warrenton was not suspicious. The business and its insurance company are conducting their own investigation into how the fire started. Meanwhile, CEO Frank Dulcich told The Daily Astorian he hopes to sign a lease on a temporary facility in the Astoria area that will be fully operational for Pacific whiting and sardines by the start of the season.

SPRNGFIELD, Ore. (AP) – Police in Springfield say a man tried unsuccessfully to save his 60-year-old girlfriend from a house fire. The woman was found dead yesterday in an upstairs bedroom of her family’s longtime home. The Register-Guard reports that authorities believe the fire was accidental.
