Deputies say everyone involved in the shooting is cooperating with investigators.

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – A Medford man is scheduled for sentencing today in the deaths of his wife and four young children. Fifty-three-year-old Jordan Adam Criado entered Alford guilty pleas in March to aggravated murder charges. Criado admitted killing his wife in July 2011 when she came home after spending all night out of the house.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The Oregon Zoo celebrated Packy’s 51st birthday yesterday with a 40-pound “cake” made of apples, carrots and celery for what’s believed to be the oldest male Asian elephant in North America. Packy was born in Portland in 1962. KOIN reports demonstrators outside the zoo said curators should retire Packy to a sanctuary where he can live out the rest of his life.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say a male victim has been shot in a drive-by shooting in North Portland.
