MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – Police believe a Medford man was selling quantities of Viagra, Cialis and anabolic steroids out of his home. Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement investigators served a search warrant Wednesday on the home of 39-year-old Rafael Rene Fernandez. The Mail Tribune reports agents found 18,000 doses of liquid anabolic steroid, 250 doses of Viagra and 1.8 pounds of a white powder believed to be Viagra and Cialis. Johnson is not a doctor or pharmacist. Police also seized $15,000 in cash.

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) – Police now say close to 100 shots were fired in that shootout between Washington County officers and a Hillsboro officer during a domestic violence response at his home in Forest Grove. Capt. Mike Herb told The Oregonian it will be tough to come up with an absolute number because multiple shell casings and bullet holes were found in various locations around the home after the Jan. 20 shootout with Timothy Cannon. He surrendered and has pleaded not guilty to attempted aggravated murder charges. He has resigned from the Hillsboro police force.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A man who was paralyzed in a suicide attempt at the Multnomah County Jail is suing the county for $12 million. Twenty-nine–year-old Westley Wilson says in his lawsuit says the county and jail staffers were negligent for failing to provide a safe environment or put him on a suicide watch. Wilson landed on his head in a jump from a second-floor tier last May after he was jailed in Portland for violating a restraining order. Wilson is now a paraplegic in a nursing home.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – An Oregon man convicted of two murders and who was a person of interest in others will be released from prison in two weeks. Prison officials say Scott William Cox will return to Yamhill County for post-prison supervision after his Feb. 22 release. The long-haul truck driver pleaded no contest in 1993 to two counts of murder. One victim was found stabbed to death in front of a Portland grocery store in 1990 and the other was found strangled in Portland in 1991.
