LOS ANGELES (AP) – Blake Griffin had 23 points and nine assists and the Los Angeles Clippers ended a four-game losing streak with a 96-83 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers yesterday. The Clippers have the third-best record in the NBA at 33-13, 2½ games behind San Antonio. Eric Bledsoe had 10 points, five assists and five rebounds in his seventh start as point guard. Chris Paul missed his fourth straight game because of a bruised right kneecap. LaMarcus Aldridge led the Trail Blazers with 21 points.

SEATTLE (AP) – Kristi Kingma scored 20 points and two Washington players posted double-doubles as the Huskies defeated Oregon 66-53 yesterday. Talia Walton had 18 points and 13 rebounds, and Aminah Williams had 10 points and 12 rebounds for Washington, which kept pace with No. 19 UCLA in sharing third place in the Pac-12. UCLA beat Arizona State 54-50 on Sunday. Ariel Thomas led Oregon with 14 points. Amanda Delgado scored 12.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Lia Galdeira scored 22 points and Washington State rallied to defeat Oregon State 76-73 in overtime yesterday. Mariah Cooks had 16 points for the Cougars, who trailed 38-24 at halftime. Washington State used a 17-2 run starting the second half to go in front 41-40 with 14 minutes to play. Neither team led by more than four points for the rest of regulation, and the Cougars never led by more than four at any time in the game. Ali Gibson led the Beavers with 18 points.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) – Joe Pavelski had two goals, Patrick Marleau (MAHR’-loh) scored again – though only once – and the undefeated San Jose Sharks beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-1 yesterday. Joe Thornton also scored for the Sharks, who improved to 5-0-0. Antti Niemi (AN’-tee nee-YEH’-mee) made 23 saves as coach Todd McLellan earned his 200th career victory. Alexandre Burrows scored for the Canucks, who had a three-game unbeaten streak end. Cory Schneider also stopped 23 shots.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – Midfielder Lamar Neagle has been reacquired by the Seattle Sounders from the Montreal Impact for an international roster spot through the end of the 2014 season. The 25-year-old Neagle played for Seattle in 2009 and 2011, then was traded to Montreal with forward Mike Fucito for forward Eddie Johnson. Neagle scored two goals with two assists in 23 games last season. The trade was announced yesterday.
